Congratulations to CSBL undergraduate researcher Ryland Mortlock for winning an award at the undergraduate research banquet on April 11, 2018!

Ryland won the Interdisciplinary Award for the Physical Sciences and Engineering category for his mathematical modeling of the signaling pathways that mediate pancreatic beta cell proliferation. This work is a collaborative project with Dr. Senta Georgia from the USC Keck School of Medicine. This award is well-deserved and a great honor denoting Ryland’s hard work.

Congratulations, Ryland!
