Professor Finley traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona this week to participate in the Mathematical Oncology Meeting. The meeting was sponsored by the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Division of Cancer Biology and included prominent researchers using mathematical analyses and modeling to study cancer. Many research groups supported by the NCI’s Physical Sciences-Oncology Network or Cancer Systems Biology Consortium (CSBC) attended the meeting. The meeting featured great scientific presentations and good discussion of the state of the field.

Professor Finley gave a talk on the CSBL’s work in performing a kinetic analysis of CAR signaling domains, which is Jennifer Rohr’s Ph.D. project.

Congratulations to Professor Finley!
