Congratulations to Prof. Finley, who was selected as a 2018 NextGen Star by the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)!

The NextGen Stars program provides an exciting opportunity to increase the visibility of early-career scientists at the AACR Annual Meeting and to support the professional development and advancement of those selected to speak. The eight NextGen Stars presented their work in major sessions at the 2018 AACR Annual Meeting.

Prof. Finley presented in the “Translational Applications of Systems Biology” Major Symposium, chaired by Dr. Andrea Califano. Other speakers in the session included: Dr. Gordon Mills and Dr. William Hahn. Dr. Finley discussed the systems biology model to predict the effects of altering receptor structure in CAR T cells.

It was an honor to present in such a great session.

Congratulations, Dr. Finley!
