The CSBL is excited to be NIH-funded… AGAIN!

Professor Finley, in collaboration with Dr. Nicholas Graham (Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science), was awarded a five-year grant from the NIH National Cancer Institute. This is a U01 through the Cancer Systems Biology Consortium.

The project, entitled “Modeling based design of chimeric antigen receptors for Natural Killer cell-based immunotherapy”, will generate a fundamental understanding of intracellular signaling mediated by NK-CARs to enable efficient design of optimal CARs for multiple myeloma. This research has the potential to unlock the transformative power of NK-CAR cells for cancer immunotherapy..

We look forward to completing this exciting work!

Congratulations, Professor Finley!
