Congratulations to Dr. Mahua Roy, whose first paper from the lab was recently accepted for publication! Her paper, entitled “Computational model predicts the effects of targeting cellular metabolism in pancreatic cancer” is being published in Frontiers in Physiology. View the paper here: LINK. The paper describes a detailed kinetic model of central metabolic pathways in pancreatic cancer cells. Dr. Roy applied the model to investigate the effects of targeting key metabolic enzymes in the network and how that influences cancer cell proliferation. We look forward to building on this work in the future.

Congratulations, Mahua!!
