Congratulations, Vardges Tserunyan, Ph.D.
February 3, 2024Congratulations to CSBL Ph.D. candidate, Niki Tavakoli!
May 1, 2024Congratulations to Diamond Mangrum for successfully passing her Ph.D. qualifying exam. Diamond is now a Ph.D. Candidate!
Diamond’s Ph.D. research will develop mechanistic computational models of apoptosis and pro-survival signaling in prostate cancer cells. Her project aims to extensively model the combined involvement of death receptors and androgen receptors in the decision-making process toward prostate cancer cell apoptosis or pro-survival. Excitingly, this research elucidates quantitative information that could be leveraged to better regulate apoptotic signaling, androgen signaling, and can easily be applied to other hormone dependent cancer cell lines and receptors.
We are excited to see the excellent work Diamond will accomplish over the next 2 years.
Congratulations, Diamond!
