CSBL at 2025 BMES meeting

Congratulations to CSBL student, Diamond Mangrum, for giving a talk at the  2025 Annual Meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES). Diamond’s presentation entitled “Modeling Drug Resistance in Prostate Cancer Through Cue-Signal-Response Heterogeneity in Apoptotic Pathways” on Saturday, October 12. This was a great opportunity to present this exciting work to a broad audience.

Prof. Finley gave a talk in the special session for the new Special Interest Group – Computational Biomedical Engineering, was able to connect with friends from her postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and visited the exhibit booth from her undergraduate alma mater, the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
