CSBL at 2025 BMES meeting
October 14, 2025The lab had a great showing at the 2025 Annual Meeting for the Society for Mathematical Biology! The conference was held in the beautiful Edmonton, Canada July 13-18, 2025.
Lynne presented research on integrating imaging and mechanistic modeling to study prolactin receptor in pancreatic beta cells.
Holly gave a talk on her work to use protein structure-informed kinetic rates for mechanistic modeling of signal transduction.
Dr. Rebecca Bekker presented results from an agent-based model of the TME for breast-to-lung metastases.
Dr. Finley was part of a minisymposium on systems biology modeling of cancer and gave a talk on the metabolic reprogramming in cancer-associated fibroblasts and tumor-associated macrophages in colorectal cancer.

The meeting was a wonderful chance to learn about the current research and connect with colleagues!
Congratulations to the CSBL!
