Congratulations to Diamond Mangrum and Niki Tavakoli for winning best poster awards in the Signals & Systems section at the 27th Annual Grodins Symposium hosted by the USC Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Diamond presented her research in developing a mechanistic model of apoptosis signaling in prostate cancer cells, building on her 2024 publication.

Niki’s poster presented her recent publication describing constraint-based modeling of colorectal cancer cell metabolism.

Congratulations, Diamond and Niki!

Lynne, Holly, and Elizabeth also presented their research at the symposium.

It was a great showing for the group!
