Congratulations to Jess Wu for winning the Best Poster Award in the Signals & Systems category of the 20th Annual Grodins Research Symposium! The symposium brings together all Ph.D. students in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at USC to present their work. BME faculty served as judges for the poster sessions. Jess’ project to develop a mechanistic model of TSP1-mediated apoptosis signaling in endothelial cells was selected to win in her category. The project, which also includes preliminary experimental work, is supported by the NSF CAREER award. Congratulations, Jess!!
