Congratulations to Professor Finley, who gave an invited talk at the Southern California Systems Biology Conference held at the University of California, Irvine on Saturday, January 28. The regional conference was hosted by the Center for Complex Biological Systems at UC Irvine. Prof. Finley’s talk was entitled “Applying systems biology to predict CAR-mediated T cell activation”.

Dr. Mahua Roy, a postdoctoral fellow working in the lab, also presented at the conference. Her poster was entitled “Computational model predicts the effects of targeting cellular metabolism in pancreatic cancer” and described her new predictive model that has also been submitted for publication.

Congratulations!
