Systems Biology
What is systems biology?
There are three defining ideologies for systems biology:
“Systems biology is a comprehensive quantitative analysis of the manner in which all the components of a biological system interact functionally over time.”
“The science of discovering, modeling, understanding and ultimately engineering at the molecular level the dynamic relationships between the biological molecules that define living organisms.”
“A dynamic, integrative analysis of all the components of a biological system in order to explain and understand its behavior.”
