June 1, 2019Congratulations to Ding Li for successfully completing his Ph.D. qualification exam. Ding is now a Ph.D. Candidate!
Ding’s dissertation research will focus on building models that predict the dynamics of the angiogenic balance in cancer. The models will illustrate how tumor angiogenesis is systematically regulated and investigate different anti-angiogenic therapies that simultaneously target multiple angiogenic species. This builds on Ding’s 2018 paper of a whole-body model of VEGF and TSP1 in cancer patients, published in Integrative Biology and recent pre-print presenting a tissue-based model of angiogenic factors.
