Congratulations to Handan Cetin, the CSBL’s newest Ph.D. candidate!

Congratulations to Handan Cetin for successfully passing the Ph.D. qualifying exam. Handan is now a Ph.D. Candidate!

Handan’s proposed research will combine constraint-based modeling, graph theory, and evolutionary game theory to explore cellular metabolism in colorectal cancer. In particular, this work aims to understand metabolic crosstalk between cancer cells, cancer-associated fibroblasts, and macrophages in the tumor microenvironment.

We look forward to Handan’s impactful research.
