Qianhui (Jess) Wu has been awarded a 2019 Merit Award from Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) at USC.
Jess was presented with the award at WiSE’s annual awards ceremony on April 23, 2019.
In her dissertation research, Jess uses a systems biology approach to study the complex signaling network that regulates tumor angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels in solid tumors. The goal of her work is to optimize anti-angiogenic therapeutic strategies and identify effective targets for cancer
